What precedes the photography of architecture, hotels and interiors?
Before the shoot, the client prepares a brief outlining the assignment. Alternatively, we can arrange an online or in-person meeting to discuss the project and fine-tune the details. Afterward, I will provide a pricing proposal, and once it’s approved, we can move forward with detailed planning. Then, we will debate the shooting dates and address any necessary permits or logistical arrangements.
What comes after the shooting?
After completing the photography, I will make an initial selection of the images. Then, these will be uploaded to a private link, created specifically for you. There, you’ll be able to view, comment on, and make your final selection. Additionally, you can also use link to track the progress of the work, which is especially helpful for larger projects.
What is the price of the architectural, hotel & interior photos?
Due to the uniqueness of each project, the price for architecture, hotel, and interior photography depends on multiple indicators. These include factors such as the type and scope of the photographs, location, deadline, licensing requirements, express delivery, special equipment, or a larger team.
In any case, do not hesitate to contact me for more information. In fact, I will happily prepare a non-binding individual quote tailored to your needs and expectations.
What's the deal with licenses?
The basic license includes the useage of photographs for the client’s internal websites, social networking, email communication, small printed collaterals up to A3 size, online booking catalogs (for hotels and accommodation), competitions, and editorials. If you need photographs for broader campaigns such as outdoor advertising (OOH), television commercials (TVC), or advertorials, I offer the option to extend the license at an additional cost.
You can opt for exclusive licenses (with the exception of my own promotional use) or shared licenses. In the case of shared licenses, the cost can be split with a for example supplier, reducing expenses for both parties. In brief, I always aim to tailor the licensing to fit the specific needs of your project.
Photo submissions and formats?
I always submit photos only through online data storage, in several formats.
In fact, the final package includes full resolution for online cuts, full resolution for conversion to print profiles, and optimized format for the web. Further, web fallback images and presentation previews are included as well.
Upon agreement, I will prepare specific formats (dimensions, aspect ratios, color profiles) either for print or online. Because of my previous experience in design and web development, feel free to connect me with your graphic designers or developers to get the most out of your photos (I sharpen and compress photos to specific resolutions).
How many iterations do I have as a client?
The number of iterations depends on the size and scope of the project and is always specified in the contract. Instead of a fixed number of iterations, adjustments are usually calculated per hour of work, which provides greater flexibility. For smaller jobs, adjustments are often faster, while larger projects may require more extensive changes. I always strive to ensure that the results are as close to your expectations as possible. Besides, we will discuss all the details in advance.
