Twelve cylindrical towers grouped into an organic, beehive-like form, with exposed concrete contrasting against the warm glow from corner-less classrooms and stairwells, UOB Innovation Hub (Singapore).

UOB Innovation Hub

UOB Innovation Hub, located at Nanyang Technological University, consists of 12 eight-storey towers arranged around an atrium, creating an organic form reminiscent of a beehive. The photography collection emphasizes the contrast between the raw concrete mass and the evening glow radiating from the interior of 56 cornerless classrooms and staircases.

Architect: Heatherwick Studio

Location: Singapore

The biophilic principle permeates the entire building, with green roof terraces and climbing plants organically complementing the horizontal rhythm of the concrete facades, UOB Innovation Hub (Singapore), captured by architectural photographer Ondrej Hromadko.
