My approach to architectural photography

I create professional photography for architects, developers, contractors, institutions, and real estate funds. As an architectural photographer, my work focuses not only on the form of the building but also on the vision behind it. I combine minimalism, contextual sensitivity, and a strong attention to detail, always aiming to go beyond mere documentation.

Photographs tailored to the purpose of the project and the target group

Each series is thoughtfully shaped to align with the project’s intent and the visual language of the client. Whether it’s crafted to stand out in media or competitions, or to serve as a compelling visual asset for marketing, sales, or leasing.

Brief for architectural photographer

To provide you with the desired visuals, it’s essential to specify any particular needs and special requirements. Find out how to write an opening brief for architectural photographer

Building conditions, access, and restrictions

Although the building may appear in the best possible condition for photography, there are a few things to look out for to avoid visual distractions (Possible adjoining landscaping, installation of utilities, or ongoing construction of surrounding buildings). It is vital to notify the facility manager and security in advance and obtain entrance permission if necessary. In addition, some buildings are subject to a special regime of restrictions about which it is crucial to inform me beforehand (banks, military buildings, galleries, and similar).

Weather and lighting

Optimal weather and excellent lighting conditions are fundamental to the finest architectural photography. For instance, I return to the Buildings at different times and conditions of the day, according to the pre-calculated position of the sun. Shooting over several days is common, and a reserve is necessary in the event of bad weather.
